In order to act as a nominee in Norwegian securities funds’ unit holder registers, the nominee must be authorised under the Norwegian Act on Securities Funds section 4-10 subsection (4) and the associated Securities Fund Regulations section 13-2.
Such authorisations are granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) of Norway.
