Fund Manager of ODIN Eiendom leaving ODIN Forvaltning AS

Thomas Nielsen, Fund Manager of ODIN Eiendom, has chosen to resign from his post after 5 years at ODIN Forvaltning AS and 4 years as the Fund Manager for ODIN Eiendom.

– We have appreciated having Thomas as a colleague and wish him the best as he moves on to new challenges, says Investment Director Vegard Søraunet.

Ensuring an orderly transition of fund management

Investment Director Vegard Søraunet will assume responsibility for ODIN Eiendom until a long-term solution is in place.

– Thomas will cooperate closely with me until his successor is in place to ensure an orderly transition of fund management responsibilities, as is the tradition at ODIN, says Søraunet.

The recruitment process for a new fund manager is underway

– Efforts to find Thomas’ successor have begun. We are looking at both internal and external candidates. The aim is to find the best-suited candidate so that we ensure robust management that provides satisfaction for our customers, says Søraunet.

No changes to the fund’s mandate

The fund will continue to be a good and flexible way of investing in Nordic real estate.

– The Nordic region is ODIN Eiendom’s investment universe. This area is already well covered by our Nordic team, which comprises 5 people, of which 3 are managers and 2 are analysts. Until the new fund manager is in place, we will retain a good overview of what is going on amongst the various listed real estate companies that the fund invests in,’ says Søraunet.
