Harald Nissen

Harald holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Warwick and a Master's degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.

Background and experience

Harald Nissen has worked at Odin since 2010. He previously worked as a consultant in data and technology. He was a key contributor to the launch of Odin Emerging Markets, which Odin took in-house in 2010, and has worked on analysis for Odin’s global and European mandates.

Harald was responsible manager of Odin USA from the fund’s inception in October 2016 until the end of November 2021. He was co-manager of Odin Global from September 2016 until August 2020, when he became responsible manager together with Håvard Opland, a role he held until 30 June 2026. He was responsible manager of Odin Sustainable from its launch on 29 November 2021 until 31 December 2025. Since 30 June 2026, he has been responsible manager of SpareBank 1 USA.
