Håvard Opland

Håvard Opland holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Agder. In addition he is a certified financial analyst (AFA) and has an MBA in Finance from NHH.

Background and experience

Håvard Opland joined Odin in 2006 and was the responsible portfolio manager for Odin Europa from 2013 until the fund merged with Odin Global in March 2024.

Håvard has also been co-manager of Odin Global since September 2016. In August 2020, he became responsible portfolio manager for Odin Global together with Harald Nissen.

He was also co-manager of Odin Emerging Markets together with Dan Erik Glover from 1 June 2023 to 31 December 2025.

Håvard has experience as a controller and analyst. He has significant insight into international equity markets, and in recent years has had a particular focus on Europe.
